If you are an International visitor holding a STUDENT VISA or a TEMPORARY VISITOR VISA , YOU ARE NOT ELIGABLE TO ENROL IN THE COURSE 11029NAT Course in Firearms and Weapons Safety (Approved for Firearms Licensing in Queensland).
READING MATERIAL.
Below you will find all the reading material for the course you will be attending. Please insure you read the below reading material before attending your course. All the reading material will give you a better understanding of firearm safety , different types of firearms and the firearms legislation
FORM 33.
Below is also a FORM 33 for you to download , print double sided and complete . As you will be attending a range to do the live fire you will need to bring this form with you on the day . Please fill it in before coming , you will need to put the date of the course and start time of the course will also need to go on the form. Do not sign it as we will sign it together after I check your ID when you arrive at the course . On the back of the form at the bottom it has a spot for the type of ID you will be using like a drivers license or passport. The ID must have a photo of you on it. Please put the type and number of the ID on the form and I will check it off on the day.
VIDEOS.
I have also attached a couple of videos to watch , these videos will make the course easier for you as they explain the different types of firearms and also how to clean them.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
All safety equipment will be provided on the day. You will need to wear covered shoes like sneakers, sand shoes etc. We will provide hearing protection either ear muffs or ear plugs which ever you are more comfortable wearing and also safety glasses.
PAYMENT.
Payment is made on the day of the course when you arrive. It can be by eftpos, bank deposit or cash depending on location as not all have eftpos. The cost of the course will depend on the license you require and the location of the training. The cost was given when the booking was taken. If you decide you wish to change what units you do the trainer can give you an updated price by calling them or on the day when you arrive at the course .
